Supporting the Global Anti-Pandemic Effort, Suncity Group Donated Protective Gear to Public Hospitals in Philippines
Facing the unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, Suncity Group is concerned about the pandemic and in support of the global anti-pandemic effort.
Joining hands with SunTrust, Resorts World Philippines Cultural Heritage Foundation Inc (RWPCHFI) and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Suncity Group (Philippines) donated RMB 7 million worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including 50,000 pieces each of PPE suits, N95 masks, medical face masks, medical goggles, medical gloves and medical shoe covers to 40 public hospitals in Luzon, Philippines, contributing the local anti-pandemic effort.
Previously, Suncity Group and Alvin Chau, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Suncity Group donated, through the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, MOP 60 million and medical equipment such as N95 masks to Hubei Province. In addition, he donated another RMB 10 million to Zhaoqing, Guangdong in support of the city’s anti-pandemic measures.
